Tim Whitten  Associate

Tim has acted as a key member of a number of strategic and policy making groups and has created numerous partnerships. These have included collaborations with the V&A, and the Tate Gallery, the Teacher Training Agency, Health Trusts and universities.

Now with over twenty years’ experience working in the museum and art gallery sector he has covered each corner of the profession from front of house team member to senior manager, learning programmer and gallery keeper. Tim joined the Redman Design Team in early 2007.

"I'm passionate about museums. Working in so many different roles has given me the first hand evidence that participating in museums changes people’s lives. Much of my career has been spent creating settings and opportunities for learning. Experience has taught me never to underestimate people’s capacity to understand, share feelings and empathise with others if the conditions are right. I strongly believe that it’s teamwork, consultation and collaborations that make our design for each project unique, innovative and relevant."
